The Pier is for first-loves, best friends, "I Do's" and millions of memories, and these moments are what give the Pier its sense of magic. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we wanted to feature our community and their stories. Whether it be romantic or just a friendship - even stories of self love. We then, with permission, took these beautiful stories and displayed them at large scale on the carousel window for our visitors to enjoy.

On Valentines day itself, we provided our visitors with 3 free photobooths to take pictures to their hearts content - each was themed differently: “Just Friends”, “In Love”, and “It’s Complicated...”

The overall visual languge was deeply inspired by traditional snail-mail elements.
